Carradice Collection is a series of culturally conscious literature written for and about the Children and Chidults of the Diaspora. This collection of books are penned in honor of and dedicated to the memory of Ms. Aletha Carradice of Mandeville Jamaica. "Ms. Letha", as she was affectionately called is the great- grandmother of the protagonist, young Carradice. She is the catalyst that continues to inspire these melanated words. As matriarch, Ms. Letha carried her family with grace and tenacious strength when it was in crisis. While collecting them in their brokenness and loading their burdens on her back, she gave unselfishly of her time, love, prayers and meager resources. She strove to create solutions for their woes. Her committment was driven by a sense of responsibility for family because indeed family is tantamount! And in this spirit, the author has created a body of prollific works so the readers of the Carradice Collection will have the opportunity to pour into their fellow man and lift up the human family.
